When the liquid is out of sight, a new vacuum measuring instrument can tell you more about your home

A new vacuum measurement tool is being developed to allow home buyers to see the state of the plumbing systems they’ve installed.

Dubbed “Vapetron”, the device uses the same technology that powers the latest vacuum cleaner models, but is capable of detecting a range of chemicals in water to help determine the quality of your home.

The company, which recently received funding from the European Union and the US, says it will be available to the public by the end of the year.

“The world of plumbing has evolved so much over the past few decades, and there are more and more sophisticated, automated tools for testing and measuring plumbing systems,” Mr Alistair Stowell, vice-president of RTE, said.

“Vapets are a great way to learn about your plumbing system and to improve the quality, integrity and efficiency of your plumbing.”

Vapettron is the first such device to use a water sample that’s been vacuum sealed, meaning that the vapour has to be delivered to a lab before it can be tested.

This allows the company to collect more detailed data on the fluid level, and also allow them to measure the relative humidity of the water, the amount of salt in the water and the amount that’s absorbed.

It’s a much simpler method to use than using an automated device, which is why the team are aiming to launch the device in the UK and Germany by the middle of next year.

It was developed by a team at the University of Cambridge, led by Dr Benoit Gagnon.

“It’s really exciting, and we think this could be the first of many,” he said.”[But] the big challenge is getting the water in the test tubes.”

The device was tested in the laboratory, and found that vapour from the water was absorbed by the water’s walls, making it possible to test the device without having to collect the sample.

It also works with any type of water, whether it’s fresh, salt water or even sewage.

It works in the same way as any other vacuum measuring device, allowing the user to measure volume, pressure and pressure, and to record the relative level of humidity in the environment.

“This is a much more effective tool to detect chemicals in a liquid, as the vapours are very different to the water,” Dr Gagnons said.

Dr Gagns said that the new device was also able to accurately measure humidity from the air, and even vapour pressure, which makes it a more accurate measurement of the temperature in your home, as well as the temperature of the environment inside your home as a whole.

“You don’t want to measure it in the middle,” he added.

“We are now able to measure very precise humidity, and humidity is measured in the atmosphere in a very accurate way.”

So if you have a house that’s in the shade, you can measure the humidity at night, and that’s much more useful than measuring a vapor that has passed through a hosepipe.

“Dr Gagon said the device could be useful for testing new and existing systems, as it was also capable of measuring both the temperature and humidity of your living spaces.”

If you’re testing a new system that’s only just installed, you might be able to determine how much heat is coming into your home,” he explained.”

For example, if your new furnace heats up a lot more than the previous one, you want to be able, when you look at the temperature, to tell you whether the furnace is heating up at the same rate as it did before, or whether it has changed.

“Mr Alistar Stowell said the company was looking at a range in cost-saving measures, including using less water for testing, and reducing the amount required for a test, and said the idea of testing the vapors themselves was not new.”

There’s a whole range of things that we can do that are not possible to do with conventional equipment,” he told RTE.”

And there are other things that you can do, where you can use the gas from the furnace to do the testing, but there’s a lot of work that has to go into getting this right.

“I think we have a long way to go in this space before we can really get to the point where we can say that we’re at the end stage of this process, and can say we have the technology for this.”
